El Día de San Patricio (en irlandés: Lá Fhéile Pádraig) se celebra anualmente el 17 de marzo para conmemorar la muerte de San Patricio, santo patrón de Irlanda. Es una fiesta nacional en la República de Irlanda y se celebra en todo el mundo!
Nuestra academia de inglés con raíces irlandesas, celebrarado el día de San Patricio una semana antes (con respecto a Las Fallas): el viernes 9 de marzo, con un taller para niños. Tuvimos muchas actividades divertidas en inglés: artes y manualidades, cuentacuentos, juegos e incluso un pequeño desfile y sessión de fotos;)
¡Puedes ver que pasamos un buen rato y aprenderemos mucho sobre Irlanda!
Saint Patrick’s Day (in Irish: Lá Fhéile Pádraig) is celebrated annually on March 17 to commemorate the death of Saint Patrick, patron saint of Ireland. It is a national holiday in the Republic of Ireland and is celebrated all over the world!
Our English academy with Irish roots, celebrated the Saint Patrick’s Day one week before (with respect to Las Fallas): on Friday, March 9, with a workshop for children. We had many fun activities in English: arts and crafts, storytelling, games and even a small parade and photo session;)
You can see that we had a good time and we learnt a lot about Ireland!
