WATER Day

This week at our Cool Afterschool session we celebrated International Water Day (22.03). On that occasion, we talked about different uses of WATER (cleaning, washing, drinking, cooking), the importance of saving water and where water comes from.

It was raining the day before so we updated our weather chart, sang a rain song and learnt the new word: UMBRELLA. Then we had a lot of fun making and decorating rain sticks  that imitated the sound of rain thanks to rice and lentils 🙂 And we read the story of Elmer rescuing the rainbow that lost its COLOURS

Please remember to save the water and enjoy the rain! There is a possibility that after the rain you  will see the RAINBOW  🙂
