COLUMBUS DAY

Esta semana los niños aprendieron sobre COLUMBUS DAY que celebra el aniversario de la llegada de Christopher Columbus (Cristóbal Colón) a las Américas: on October 12, 1492.

WHO was he? WHERE was he from? WHAT did he want to find and WHAT did he DISCOVER? And why did he call native people of America, INDIANS?;) (¿Quen era? ¿De donde era él? ¿Qué quería encontrar y qué descubrió? ¿Y por qué llamó a la gente de América, INDIOS ?;) ¡Qué gran manera de practicar el pasado simple!

Para recordar la historia del largo viaje de Columbus, creamos MAP con barcos de papel 3 D que simbolizan los tres SHIPS: Santa María, Pinta y Niña. It was fun!
